CD Troubleshooting
Newer versions of Internet Explorer do not support PDF viewing on the SOLUTIONS 4.0 Catalog. If you experience difficulty viewing PDF documents, there are two options:
OPTION ONE:
Right-click on the PDF document link to download the file directly to your computer.
OPTION TWO:
View the SOLUTIONS 4.0 Catalog in a browser other than Internet Explorer.
The content files are Internet (HTML) files, Microsoft Word, PDF documents and JPG/GIF images, which are all safe to view and download to your computer.
To bypass this graphical interface and copy the catalog and spec files to your computer, follow these easy instructions.
- Go to "My Computer"
- Right-Click on the "Smith & Loveless" icon, then choose Explore.
Navigate to the "catalog" or "specs" folder.
- From there, you may copy the contents to a convenient place on your computer.

Microsoft Word Files
This CD-ROM contains product specification files in Microsoft Word (.doc) format. These can be viewed from the Product Specs page or copied directly to your computer by following these brief instructions.
Double-click "My Computer", then right-click your CD-ROM drive and select "Explore". Find the directory named "Pumping Systems Catalog". Open the sub-directory named "doc_files". From there, simply drag the desired documents to a convenient location on your computer. |
Adobe Acrobat Files
In Adobe Acrobat, you can utilize all of its navigational buttons. For in-depth questions regarding how to use Acrobat, we recommend that you use the Help function in that program.
Bookmarks
S&L recommends that you click the bookmark button. The index for the catalog will then appear in the left hand column. Just click on the section of the catalog you'd like to see and the program will quickly take you to that section. Thumbnails are also available for use.
Indexes
Every index is also hyperlinked to the page it calls out. Click on the index description and jump to that page. To return to the index, click the "Return to Current Catalog Section's Index" button.
